| 1. What is the JSA Web Store? |
| The JSA Web Store is a search/sales site for standards and JSA publications (in various formats: books, electronic files, videos, etc., all of which will hereafter be collectively referred to as "standards/publications") offered by JSA. The Store may be used for the following purposes. |

Searching for and purchasing JIS, ISO, and IEC standards (available in booklet form or by downloading PDF files) |

Searching for and purchasing JSA publications (JIS Handbooks, books, standard samples, etc.) |
| 2. Who can use the JSA Web Store? |
| The JSA Web Store is open to anyone |
| 3. When is the JSA Web Store open? |
The JSA Web Store is open 24 hours a day
However, services are occasionally temporarily suspended for system maintenance. |
| - Copyright policy |
|
The standards/publications, as well as all text, images, and data offered at the JSA Web Store are protected by copyright laws, which prohibit these materials from being copied, reprinted, or modified in whole or in part without the consent of JSA.
For downloading PDF files, a separate user license agreement shall be required.
PDF files are digitally watermarked. Information which identifies the licensee such as purchaser's name (and company name when applicable), an order number, date of download and other information is displayed on all pages of PDF files.

| All standards/publications can be searched under the "Title" heading. |
| JIS, ISO, and IEC standards can be searched under the "Standard No.," "Title," or "ICS " headings. |
| JIS standards can be searched under the headings "Standard No., "Title," "ICS," " Date Established," "Referenced JIS Standards," "Referenced International Standards," "Corresponding International Standards," among others. |
| ISO standards can be searched under the headings "Standard No.," "Title," "TC," "ICS ," "Date established," among others. |
| IEC standards can be searched under the headings "Standard No.," "Title," "TC SC," "ICS ," "Date established," among others. |

| Standards/publications can be purchased in one of the following ways. For shopping details, please refer to "Shopping Information." |

PDF files can be purchased only through downloading, and thus this format is available only under the "Ordering and paying at the JSA Web Store" purchasing option.

| Step1. Add to Shopping Basket |
| Click the *** (Shopping Basket) icon next to standards/publications you would like to purchase. |
| Step2. Change Contents of Shopping Basket |
| Selected standards/publications are added to, and displayed in, the Shopping Basket. You can delete selections and change amounts as required. |
| Step3. Determine Contents of Shopping Basket |
| Click "Order" to place an order for the displayed items in the Basket. Click "Continue shopping" to continue selection of other standards/publications. |
| Steo4. Purchase Confirmation |
| The "Purchase Confirmation" screen is displayed. If no change is required, click "Order." If you wish to make changes to the input data, click "Correct" to return to the "Shopping Basket." |
| The "License Agreement" screen is displayed. Please read the text and click "Place Order" if you agree with the provisions. If you do not agree, please click "Do Not Agree." |
| [Note] If you do not agree, you cannot continue the ordering process. |
| Step6. Your Contact and Delivery Information |
| The "Your Contact and Delivery Information" screen is displayed. Please input or select the necessary information, and click "Next." |
| The "Order Summary" screen is displayed. If no change is required, click "Order Confirmed" to finalize your order. If you wish to make changes to the input data, click "Back" to go back to the "Your Contact and Delivery Information" screen. If you are paying with a credit card, please input your credit-card information. |
| Step8. Order Acceptance Message |
| The "Order Acceptance Message" screen is displayed. In addition, an order-confirmation e-mail will be dispatched to your e-mail address. When you have purchased products to download (in PDF-file format), click "To Download Page" to download the files. |
| - Estimate Guide |

| An estimate of the standards/publications to be purchased can be generated through the following steps. |

| Step1. Add to Shopping Basket |
| Click the *** (Shopping Basket) icon next to standards/publications you would like to purchase. |
| Step2. Change Contents of Shopping Basket |
| Selected standards/publications are added to, and displayed in, the Shopping Basket. You can delete selections and change amounts as required. |
| Step3. Determine Contents of Shopping Basket |
| Click "Issue an Estimate" to create an estimate of the displayed content. Click "Continue shopping" to continue selection of other standards/publications. |
| Step4. Purchase Estimate Confirmation |
| The "Purchase Estimate Confirmation" screen is displayed. If no change is required, click "Estimate." If you wish to make changes to the input data, click "Correct" to return to "Shopping Basket." |
| Step5. Requesting an Estimate |
| The "Requesting an Estimate" screen is displayed. Please input or select the necessary information, and click "Issue an Estimate." |
| The "Estimate" screen is displayed. To print the page, you can use the print features of your browser. |
| - How to pay |
|
| You can make payment for the ordered standards/publications by inputting your credit card information when placing your order. The following credit cards are accepted at the JSA Web Store. |

| - Shipment |
|
| Standards/publications shall be shipped, as a general rule, within three business days following placement of your order. However, in exceptional cases it may take more than three business days to ship certain standards/publications |
| - Shipping charge |
|

The shipping charge for destinations outside of Japan shall be calculated by adding a basic charge determined for each country to the amount obtained by applying a fixed rate to the total charge of standards/publications. |

The shipping charge for destinations in Japan shall be, as a general rule, uniformly 400 yen (including the consumption tax). However, special charges may be required for some standards/publications. |

Shipment shall be made by ordinary mail for Japanese destinations and by courier for overseas destinations. If you prefer a special delivery service (i.e., express mail or the like), please inquire. (Special deliveries may entail extra shipping charges.) |

No shipping charge shall be incurred for PDF files downloaded in and outside of Japan. |
| - Consumption taxes |
|
| Consumption taxes shall be levied on the standards/publications you order, in accordance with the Consumption Tax Law of Japan. |
| - Return/replacement of purchased items |

| Please note that standards/publications you have purchased cannot, as a general rule, be returned or replaced. |
| - Indemnification |
|
| No guarantee shall be provided by JSA in respect of the contents of the standards/publications we offer. We shall take no responsibility for any economic damages, as well as any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses, derived from the use or possession of the standards/publications. The consequences of using or possessing the standards/publications shall be borne entirely by the users or possessors of such materials. |

| JSA encodes order/membership information using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. |

| JSA recognizes the importance of privacy, and has implemented the following measures to protect user privacy. |

For each set of personal customer data acquired through the JSA Web Store (hereafter referred to as "personal data"), JSA appoints a management representative in its Publishing Services Division 1 of the Publishing Department, to ensure that the data is properly handled. |

Collected personal data shall not be provided or disclosed to any third party, except to the minimum extent required for our contractors to conduct necessary subcontracted operations. |

JSA may provide customers with e-mail information regarding our products, seminars, and the like. If you do not wish to receive such e-mail notifications, please notify us (see "Contact"). |
